Introduction to Pastry - Regency

Description

In this course you will produce non laminated pastries such as custard tarts, apple pies, quiche and profiteroles. You will learn the theory behind the ingredients and processes we use to make these products, as well as each student being hands on producing these items and then tasting them.

Selection Criteria

Year 10, 11, 12. 6 weeks. Run one day per week. Students to bring an apron and wear enclosed toe shoes. Students can wear their school uniform or casual clothes (long pants). Hair nets provided. 6 weeks delivery and 1 hr per week homework.
